Singapore, 11th March 2026 – FlyORO, a leader in sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) blending solutions, has joined the Roundtable on Sustainable Biomaterials (RSB), a global multi-stakeholder, non-profit organisation, recognised for advancing science-based sustainability knowledge and trusted market-enabling standards across the global bioeconomy. Through its RSB membership, FlyORO strengthens its role in supporting SAF deployment through both infrastructure and trusted sustainability frameworks.
With SAF adoption accelerating, the aviation industry is increasingly focused on the infrastructure and governance systems that enable responsible scale‑up. Within this context, the RSB’s sustainability standards and Book & Claim System provide credibility and market assurance, while FlyORO’s, as a member, contributes operational expertise through its patented AlphaLite™ technology delivers the operational capability for decentralised blending across the SAF supply chain, from upstream production sites to near‑airport integration points, without compromising traceability or control.
Through its membership, FlyORO aligns with RSB’s broader mission to strengthen transparency, integrity, and responsible scale‑up, its membership contributes specifically to the SAF ecosystem.
Supporting SAF Adoption Through Trusted Book and Claim Frameworks
Book and claim mechanisms allow organisations to adopt SAF and claim the associated emissions reductions even when they lack physical access to the fuel. This approach broadens the potential demand base for SAF and introduces new capital flows into the market. As these demand signals strengthen, the industry must ensure that SAF can be reliably integrated into airport fuel systems where the fuel is ultimately used.
Connecting Sustainability Registries with Physical SAF Deployment
“Book and claim plays an important role in expanding SAF demand,” said Damian McLoughlin, Chief Commercial Officer at FlyORO. “At the same time, the industry still needs reliable ways to integrate SAF into the airports’ fuel supply chains. Aligning these two layers of environmental accounting and physical deployment is key to scaling SAF in a reliable way.”
Operating at the intersection of infrastructure and fuel supply chains, FlyORO’s AlphaLite blending infrastructure unlocks possibilities for SAF to be blended closer to the point of uplift, supporting flexible deployment while maintaining traceability and transparency. As demand aggregation mechanisms such as book and claim continue to grow, physical SAF deployment remains an essential component of the system. Sustainability registries track environmental attributes and claim integrity, while infrastructure ensures that SAF is physically blended and delivered into wing.
Strengthening the Global SAF Ecosystem
“Strengthening transparency across the SAF value chain requires robust infrastructure and credible systems that uphold the integrity of book and claim,” commented Julia Fidler, Executive Director at the RSB. “FlyORO's membership of the RSB reflects a shared commitment to the transparency and integrity that credible SAF markets require. We look forward to their engagement within the RSB community as we to collaborate to advance responsible SAF.”
FlyORO’s membership in the RSB reflects the company’s broader mission to help bridge the gap between SAF targets and real-world integration. By working alongside producers, airlines, airports, policymakers, and sustainability organisations, FlyORO aims to support the development of a SAF ecosystem that is credible, accessible, and capable of scaling globally.
About FlyORO
FlyORO provides the world's first revolutionary, modular, on-demand blending service of SAF and jet fuel to enable aviation on its emissions reduction journey. As an enabler of the SAF supply chain, the company offers flyers the flexibility to align their ESG targets per flight rather than be succumbed to fixed blend ratios and bulk commitments upfront. With a small form factor of 40ft, it is space efficient, portable, and can be installed anywhere at or off airport base. This solution allows airport fuel operators to serve flyers more effectively with a simplified supply chain.
